The Incident

Eleny, seu marido Scott Schultz e um motorista estavam em São Paulo, na Marginal Pinheiros na altura da ponte João Dias por volta das 7:30 da manhã da segunda-feira, 21 de junho, quando durante, em pleno trânsito parado, dois motoqueiros, um em cada moto, abordaram o carro pelas laterais para assaltá-los.  Durante o pânico do assalto os ladrões atiraram varias vezes, acertando um tiro em sua nuca.  Após o primeiro tiro o motorista saíu deseperado do trânsito e se dirigiu ao primeiro posto de gasolina onde chamou a polícia e seguiu ao hospital, quando quase que imediatamente uma viatura da policia na frente do carro e escoltou em alta velocidade para o hospital.  Imediatamente o Scott pulou para o banco traseiro pentrouara segura-la e conforta-la o maximo possivel ao caminho do hospital.

Eleny, her companion Scott Schultz, and a driver were in São Paulo, in Marginal Pinheiros (expressway) near the bridge João Dias at about 7:30am on Monday, June 21st, when, during gridlocked traffic, two motorcycle riders, one on each motorcycle, approached the car on both sides to rob them.  During the panic, the robbers fired several shots, one of which hit her in the back of the head.  After the first shot, the driver desperately pushed his way thru the traffic and headed towards the first gas station where he asked someone to call the police and continued to head towards the hospital when a police car rushed in front of the vehicle and escorted them to the hospital.  Scott immediately jumped into the back seat to hold Eleny's head and comfort her as much as possible on the way to the hospital.
